The Institute of Studies in Humanities and Cultures is aiming at enhancing education and research, and contributing for local community. It carries out academic research with the keywords “Humanity, Community and Diversity”. At the center several research projects are conducted mainly by the academic members at the Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences collaborating with external researchers. The Institute activities for research are publication of the “Annual Report” and open lectures and symposiums such as “Human & Social Science Café” and “Monday Salon”. In order to activate academic activities, the institute provides internal as well as external opportunities for everybody.
