Taking over the responsibilities of the Gender Equality Promotion Center established in April 2014, the Center for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion was established in April 2022 in order to further drive forth the improvement of work-life balance and the reform of working style.
Placed under the control of Director of the center, who is also Assistant to the President in charge of diversity, the staff of the center, who are selected from all the graduate schools, faculty and the university hospital, put effort into the improvement of work environments and education-and-research environments for the faculty members, and the promotion of awareness enlightenment about diversity.
